About Us
Exodus Stores opened its doors in October 2013, born from a passion to create an outlet that exclusively represents African designer labels. From the outset, our primary objective was to promote African creativity, while providing designers with the retail support they need to thrive. We saw the untapped potential in our fashion industry and took the leap to offer a platform where the world could see what African fashion labels have to offer.
The name Exodus holds profound meaning for us. While many may connect it with the biblical story of a mass movement to the Promised Land, we see an even deeper meaning. For us, Exodus symbolizes hope, promise, and a brighter future for African fashion. It represents our belief that there will be a mass movement—a global recognition—of the incredible talent in African fashion and we want to be the channel through which this talent will flow.
Located in Lagos, Nigeria, we see firsthand how fashion is woven into the fabric of everyday life.
